Fixed Wire Testing
Fixed wire testing or periodic inspection and testing is necessary because all electrical installations deteriorate due to a number of factors such as damage, wear, tear, corrosion, excessive electrical loading, ageing and environmental influences. It is necessary therefore for the installation to be periodically inspected and tested and a report on its condition obtained.
MEB Total is able to offer a full-bespoke periodic electrical and inspection package to suit the individual needs of the client. We work closely with all our clients to ensure the minimum disruption due to accidental power loss. One of the initial jobs when we commence a new site is to liaise closely with on site staff to produce a power down schedule to ensure no accidental data loss or other detrimental effects. Once this periodic inspection and test is complete a report is electronically generated by a Desk Engineer and can then be forwarded in either hard copy or an environment friendly pdf file. We can also produce electrical distribution schematics and distribution board location plans in AutoCAD format.
All our Test Engineers are suitably qualified and experienced to at least City and Guilds 2391 standard and understand the importance of retaining power supply and liaising closely with the end users.
