Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is a statutory requirement under the Health and Safety Act. MEB Total will tailor make a package for your individual needs ensuring you comply with this legislation. A fully qualified engineer will attend your site and compile an asset register of all the portable equipment, each item will be fitted with a unique bar coded label, date of test, name of tester and the next due date.
Upon completion we will send you a detailed report divided into four sections; Audit Register, Pass Certificates, Fail Certificates (if any) and a list of repairs carried out. Any unsafe items will be reported to yourselves at the time of testing. We can also give you the option of a .pdf format report for your filing. A dedicated Administrator will then contact you on a yearly basis to rebook your tests in, ensuring you keep up to date with legislation and not have to worry about remembering to rebook your tests.
